Everything began with a passion for travel. The Orient, the China of not so long ago, rendered remote by the haste of our days. Elisabetta’s first trips led her to the research of forgotten treasures in post-maoist China, among rivers of bicycles and grey-green uniforms.
She crossed more than 3000 kilometres of Tibet in almost extreme situations. She spent many difficult moments, at an altitude of 15,000 feet, asking herself why she was doing it.
For the extreme beauty of a landscape that brings peace and leads to reflection and introspection. That’s why. It is no surprise that the result is a look, Elisabetta’s, so knowledgable.
There is an intimate harmony between the antiquity of the decorative furniture collected by Elisabetta and the contemporaneity of the elements she has created. A bright dream in the sign of remote art.
